UK’s May to step-down on 07 June
UK’s Prime Minister Theresa May says that she will be stepping down from office on the 07th of June 2019, paving the way for her successor.
She has been under pressure to resign, after a backlash by her own MPs against her latest Brexit plan.
Since January, Parliament has rejected the withdrawal agreement May negotiated with the EU three times.
Recent attempts to find a formal compromise with Labor also failed.
