Prime Minister arrives to testify before Presidential Commission
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today (Sept 16) arrived at the Presidential Commission probing state sector corruption to give evidence over a complaint filed over the Agriculture Ministry’s building.

Accordingly, the Ministry had then purchased a building owned by D.P.A Jayasinghe Company by paying a massive monthly rent of Rs 21.5 million.
A complaint against the exorbitant rent paid by the government had been filed at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) which is probing state sector corruption under the current government.
