No extra ballot paper for mistaken marking

Chairman of the Election Commission Mahinda Deshapriya says an extra ballot paper will not be issued if a voter mistakenly marks the preference for a presidential candidate that the voter does not want to vote for.
Senior polling officers are authorized to provide voters with extra ballot papers in certain instances, such as in a matter of oversight.
Deshapriya requests voters not to inconvenience polling officers by asking for extra ballot papers if they mark their preferences wrong.
