Extremists have invaded Parliment -Namal Rajapakshe
United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MP Namal Rajapaksa yesterday accused the extremists of not only scaring people’s minds but invading parliament. Addressing a public meeting, Mr. Rajapaksa said that such MPs are spreading communalism and extremism in order to take advantage of future elections. “At the moment, people cannot go to their places of worship without fear.
Parents fear the lives of their children. Devotees fear the safety of their religious places.
Some politicians were aware of this danger. But they ignored it and let it happen anyway. Now they are appointing a committee after the committee to investigate the so-called Easter terrorist attacks.”
